Tony Edwards

Tony Edwards

Deputy CEO of Sun Hung Kai & Co.

Mr. Edwards joined the Company as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in December 2023. He started his career in the 1990’s, in Asian investment banking, and from 2000 onwards, he developed a track record of growing, managing and realigning investment management businesses, whilst at AllianceBernstein, Neuberger Berman, Robeco and Arisaig Partners. He was the Chief Operating Officer of Arisaig Partners and the Chief Executive Officer of Robeco Asia-Pacific. He has delivered high-performance outcomes across operational, distribution, investment and governance functions, in both large institutional, start-up and boutique investment managers. He is experienced at designing and managing change management to enable technology development, operational processes, sales and marketing engagement, and enhanced risk management, typically through the alignment of organisational priorities and culture. In business development he has worked with many global and local investment advisors and consultants, Asian and Middle Eastern sovereigns, central banks, Australian and Asian Institutional capital allocators, high-net-worth and retail client-channels, always with a strong personal belief in a colligate approach to accessing growth and investment success.

In addition to building businesses, Mr. Edwards is experienced in traditional and alternative portfolio management, in both a global and local settings, public and private. He has also managed businesses within various license settings, including but not limited to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), The Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC), The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Mr. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Information Technology from Central University of Lancashire and is a Chartered Director and Fellow of the Institute of Directors.

Deputy CEO of Sun Hung Kai Capital Partners

Christophe Lee joined Sun Hung Kai Capital Partners Limited as Deputy CEO in November 2023 overseeing the alternative asset management business and the Family Office Solutions service.

Christophe has over 32 years of financial services and asset management experience in Asia. Prior to joining SHK, he was the CEO of IDEG Asset Management (Hong Kong) Limited and held senior positions at SHK Financial, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. He was also the Founder & CEO of Lotus Asset Management.

Christophe played an active role in the development of the asset management industry in Hong Kong. He served as elected Chairman of AIMA Hong Kong for 8 years between 2004 and 2012. He was appointed by the HKSAR government to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) advisory committee from 2007 to 2009 and the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) from 2013 to 2019. Christophe is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Allen Sing

Chief Investment Officer
Managing Director & Portfolio Manager, Fund of Hedge Funds

Allen Sing has 26 years of experience in the investment industry, of which, 21 years were spent as a hedge fund investor and allocator. Currently he is the Chief Investment Officer and the Portfolio Manager for SHK Capital Partners’s Global Fund of Hedge Funds, while previously, he managed CITIC Securities’ global hedge fund portfolio. Allen spent 15 years at SAIL Advisors, which served to manage the family assets of Robert W. Miller, the founder of Duty Free Shopping. In this role, he was a hedge fund research analyst and portfolio manager where he managed their USD1.5bn portfolio, comprised of hedge funds.  Over the course of 21 years as a hedge fund allocator, Allen was responsible for portfolio management, risk management as well as hedge fund research. He led teams responsible for Investment Due Diligence as well as Operational Due Diligence research.

Allen began his career in Morgan Stanley’s equity capital markets and investment banking division in 1995.  Allen holds a B.A. from Brown University, and he is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s General Management Program.

Marcella  Lui

Head of Investment Solutions

Marcella joined the Company as Head of Investment Solutions responsible for business development activities across funds and investment solutions. Marcella has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, in particular asset management and alternative investments. Prior to joining SHK, she was Managing Director at Greenwoods Asset Management, a leading Greater China focused hedge fund and private equity firm, where she oversaw business development and investor relations activities globally. Before that, she was a Managing Director and Head of Institutional Business at Value Partners Limited, one of the largest Asia based asset management firms listed on Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Previously, she also held various senior roles in Morgan Stanley, Blackrock, Merrill Lynch, SAIL Advisors and LCW Management. Marcella holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance with the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, U.S.

Flora Lo

Flora Lo

Head of Legal and Compliance

Flora has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry as a legal and compliance professional.  She was qualified as a lawyer in Hong Kong in 2000 and she most recently headed the legal and compliance department of the CLSA Premium Group before she joined SHK&Co in June 2021. She was the Executive Director, Senior Legal Counsel of CITIC CLSA covering asset management since 2013.  Prior to that, Flora was with the Hong Kong SFC Investment Products Department, before she acted as the Hong Kong Legal Counsel of Citibank N.A in 2010 covering the bank’s securities and funds services for asset managers.
